Ingredients

Overnight Oats Base
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
Dubai Chocolate Layer
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio cream
  • 2 tablespoons melted dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
Optional Toppings
  • Toasted kataifi pastry
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Extra melted chocolate
  • Coconut flakes
  • Fresh berries
  • Chocolate curls

Method

Step 1: Mix The Overnight Oats
  1. In a bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well until fully combined.
Step 2: Add Pistachio Cream
  1. Swirl the pistachio cream into the mixture. Do not fully mix it in completely so the layers remain visible and creamy.
Step 3: Refrigerate
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until thick and creamy.
Step 4: Add Toppings
  1. Before serving, top with melted chocolate, chopped pistachios, and toasted kataifi for the classic Dubai chocolate-inspired crunch.
Step 5: Serve
  1. Serve cold directly from the jar for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Rolled oats work best for creamy overnight oats.
  • Add crunchy toppings right before serving.
  • Full-fat Greek yogurt creates the richest texture.
  • Adjust sweetness depending on your pistachio cream and chocolate.
  • Toast kataifi until deeply golden for maximum crunch.
